Passive Data Collection
We automatically track certain information based upon your behavior on the Website. We use this information to do internal research on our users’ demographics, interests, and behavior to better understand, protect and serve you and our community.

RegistrationIn order to use some features of the Website and the Services, including without limitation the rental of products from Your Closet you must first register with us and create a user name and password. During registration you are also required to give truthful contact and demographic information (including name, email address, birthday and zip code) in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. We use this information to contact you about the products and Services on our Website in which you have expressed interest.
OrdersIf you order a product from us, we request certain Personal Information from you on our order form, whether you access the Services from our App or the Website. You must provide contact information (including name, shipping address, telephone number) and financial information (including credit card number and expiration date). Also, in order to assist you, we may also require personal characteristics, such as your height, bust, and dress size.
Tell-A-FriendIf you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about our Services, we will ask you for your friend’s name and email address. We will automatically send your friend a one-time email inviting him or her to visit the Website. Your Closet stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email and tracking the success of our referral program.
Chat Rooms/ Discussion BoardsIf you choose to post messages in our chat rooms or other public message areas or leave feedback for other users, please note that such information is available to anyone with Internet access. We may, but are not obligated to, collect the information you post in our chat rooms or other public message areas to resolve disputes, provide customer support and troubleshoot problems as permitted by law. PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN DISCLOSING ANY INFORMATION IN CHAT ROOMS, DISCUSSION BOARDS AND OTHER PUBLIC POSTING AREAS. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE USE BY OTHERS OF THE INFORMATION YOU PUBLICLY DISCLOSE. If you send us personal correspondence, such as emails or letters, or if other users or third parties send us correspondence about your activities or postings on the Website, we may collect such information into a file specific to you. Messages about the Service and Your AccountWe will send you strictly service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our Services are temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email. Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to deactivate your account. Based upon the Personal Information you provide us, we will send you a welcoming email to verify your username and password. We will communicate with you in response to your inquiries, to provide the services you request, to manage your account, and to provide the best customer service possible.
We use third party software to verify your identity and address, in order to ensure proper shipping and billing procedures for your rental and purchases.

We may disclose Personal Information if we have a good-faith belief that doing so is required by a subpoena or other judicial or administrative order or otherwise required by law or in connection with an actual or proposed corporate transaction or insolvency proceeding involving all or part of the business or asset to which the information pertains. Access to Personally Identifiable Information
If your information changes, or if you no longer desire our Services, you may correct, update, delete it or deactivate your account by going to your account or by emailing our Customer Support at firstname.lastname@example.org by contacting us by telephone or postal mail at the contact information listed above.
The security of your information is important to us, including, but not limited to, the Personal Information collected via the Website. If we learn of a security breach, we may attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps. By using the Services or the Website or by providing Personal Information to us, you agree that we can communicate with you electronically regarding security, privacy, and administrative issues relating to your use of the Services. If a security systems breach occurs, we may post a notice on our homepage or elsewhere on the Website and may send email to you at the email address you have provided to us. Depending on where you live, you may have a legal right to receive notice of a security breach in writing. This notice paragraph applies to users of Services and the Website.
Change of Ownership
In the event of a change in ownership, or a merger with, acquisition by, or transfer or sale of all or a portion of our assets to, another entity, we reserve the right to transfer all of your Personal Information, including email addresses, to that entity. The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) protects the online privacy of children under 13 years of age. Your Closet and the Website are not directed toward individuals under the age of eighteen (18), and we request that such individuals do not provide Personal Information through our Website. Additionally, we do not knowingly collect or maintain Personal Information from anyone under the age of 18, unless or except as permitted by law. If we learn that Personal Information has been collected from a user under 18 years of age on or through the Website, then we will take the appropriate steps to cause this information to be deleted..com to have that child’s account terminated and information deleted.
